  1. Well, I’ll dip my toe in the water here… That is a complex statement, so it is hard to give a SIMPLE response. I’d actually say that my primary duty, with regard to the congregation, is to be continually growing in my intimacy with Christ. If each member did that, then the rest would be…the proverbial “piece of cake”! The church is FULL of people who “do their duty” and come to a meeting…with no visible, discernible effect on their life. No, I’d say we don’t need a whole lot more warm bodies. We need commitment and life change.
