Parent Appreciation

School

We are nearly done with our first full week of kindergarten. And just let me say wow. Wow.

At first, the whole adventure felt like going to summer camp. Readying clothes. Supplies. Packing. Excitement. Energy. But now the reality is settling in. Kindergarten lasts more than a week, and so will this pace.

Wow.

I have a newfound appreciation for all parents of students. You work hard.

To all those who wake early to ready lunches and lay out clothes…
To all those who pay school and activity fees…
To all those who juggle calendars and handouts…
To all those who sit in pick-up lines…
To all those who turn left out of Cedar Bluff Elementary…
To all those who pray through the day for their students…
To all those who make last minute Kroger runs…
To all those who manage to make it to church Wednesday night after a long day…
To all you parents of students…

I salute you.
