One Hour

I am convinced you can dramatically change your life with one hour.

Let me explain.

We recently cut TV at our house (for a number of reasons). And in the process, I began to consider the significance of gaining even one hour back per day.

I began to think about all the amazing things you can do with one hour.

In one hour…

You can get married.
You can worship and hear a sermon.
You can have a counseling appointment.
You can have a deep conversation with a family member on the phone.
You can have an intense workout.
You can pray.
You can read a one-year-bible daily reading.
You can write a blog post.
You can connect with your child.
You can read a chapter or two in a good book.
You can…

Well, you get the picture. One hour is enough for most things.

And I’ll go one better.

Not only is one hour enough to get most things done, it’s enough to get most things done well. A one hour workout is rockstar. A one hour conversation goes deep. One hour of praying is saintly. You can make a substantial impact with one hour.

Now imagine that hour times seven. Now, times fifty two.

What’s that one hour become? Renewal. A new career. A new relationship. A new insight. A new physique. A new breakthrough. A new life.

One hour.

So can you find an hour hiding somewhere? If you can find it, you may find a whole lot more.
